How beneficial can applying bleach be for face and body tanning? We use bleach for lightening and whitening of the skin, but it is worth noting that at such times most people also face problems like skin burn and rashes. In this case, would it be better to apply bleach for suntan or not? Bleach can have side effects whether it is being used for the body or the face.
Dr Rashmi Shetty, owner of Ra Aesthetics & Dermatology and a renowned dermatologist in Mumbai, has shared information related to this on her social media account. She has told me that if you are using bleach for suntan, then when and how should it be done?
Does Bleach Remove Tanning?
The answer is yes. According to Dr Rashmi, the job of bleach is to lighten your skin. You have to keep in mind that when you are applying bleach for a suntan. Applying it at the wrong time can also burn your skin.
Bleach can be an effective tan removal solution. It reduces the pigment built up in the skin and helps to even out the skin tone by removing the top layer of the skin.
Keep these things in mind before applying bleach
Bleach has many benefits, but it can also cause first-degree skin burns. That's why you have to keep in mind when and how to apply bleach.
Do not bleach after coming from the sun
Using a tanning solution too soon can be very harmful to your skin. Many people think of bleaching either after coming from the sun or after their vacation is over. At this time the skin is already dry, red and flaky. In some cases, sunburns, rashes and irritations also occur. In such a situation, if bleach is applied, then there may be a reaction in your skin and your skin may look bad.
In such times, all you have to do is to clean your skin first and then apply moisturiser. You have to wait for the skin to become normal. This is the way to improve the skin.
How to apply bleach?
First of all, clean the skin and apply a little moisturizer. After this, wash the skin with lukewarm water. Next, apply bleach. Bleach can also react with dry skin if moisturizer is not applied to the skin first.
