If you use Android Smartphone, then there is some tension news. There are five vulnerabilities in the devices of Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Google, and many other smartphone companies that can be used by cybercriminals. These flaws were detected by researchers in Pixel 6 smartphones in June this year.

However, chip makers from their side have already rolled out updates to fix the bugs. But still, millions of users are reportedly on target of this attack. As per the information, this threat is only in those devices which have ARM Mali graphics processing unit chipset or GPU chipset. These security flaws allow criminals to bypass the permissions model of the Android OS and gain access to the entire system. Due to this, there is also a possibility of user data being stolen. But in all except Galaxy S22 series

For example, except for the Galaxy S22 series, all other devices that come with Exynos chipsets are currently facing bugs and security issues.

According to a report published by Google's Project Zero team, Google's security analyst first informed about the 'Patch gap'. This patch is affecting the entire supply chain in the Android ecosystem. This refers to the time elapsed between a patch being released and being installed. Instead of finding the loophole, most attackers reverse engineer the patch and the patch gap becomes an opportunity for them to exploit the system.

In addition, there exists another well-known major problem. They have to wait for the second vendor to incorporate the patch into the software. This also happens because many smartphone vendors provide their Android versions on their phones. Google's Project Zero team says that the only solution to this problem for the users is the update rollout by the smartphone companies.
