Actress Bhumi Pednekar took the responsibility of cleaning the beach at Carter Road in Mumbai on her shoulders. Bhumi picked up the garbage with her own hands to make people aware of the importance of cleanliness. Along with this, she said that in this era of climate crisis and change in environmental situation, we all have to support.

In the pictures going viral on social media, Bhumi is seen lifting a plastic vest wearing a white T-shirt and a cap on her head. Many more people were seen sharing their hands in this campaign. During this, she also gave a message to the people to be aware of cleanliness.

The actress told the people to present there-, "This garbage is spread by us and it is our responsibility to clean our garbage. It is our responsibility to protect this earth which is ours. It is not just for us, But it is also very important for our future generation.

Bhumi told that during this campaign she has collected 3.5 tonnes of garbage today. She said that it is not that we will sit down after doing it once and get rid of it. We have to change our habits. In these pictures, we can see how she has done the cleaning work in between.

Actually, Bhumi started the 'Climate Warrior' campaign two years ago. Together with thousands of Mumbaikars, she raised her voice to save the climate and also took out a silent march on the streets of Bandra in favor of saving the climate.
