Himachal Pradesh Beti Hai Anmol Yojana benefits

Under this scheme, financial assistance is given to the daughters of Himachal Pradesh for their studies. Under the scheme, on the birth of a girl child, the Himachal Pradesh government will deposit a scholarship of Rs 10,000 in the bank account of the girl child. Through the Himachal Pradesh Beti Hai Anmol Yojana, Rs 12000 will be given to every girl child belonging to families living below the poverty line.

Apart from this, financial assistance ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 12000 is provided for the purchase of books and uniforms from the first class of the girl child to the 12th class. Thereafter, when the daughter continues her studies for graduation after class 12th, she is given financial assistance of Rs 5,000.

How to apply for this scheme?

Online and offline applications can be made for this scheme. For application in 'Himachal Pradesh Beti Hai Anmol Yojana', the daughter's Aadhaar card, income certificate, residence certificate, age certificate, photocopy of bank passbook, BPL ration card, a letter issued by the principal of the school, in the form of a document Are being given. The benefits of this scheme can be availed only by those daughters who are below the poverty line applicants and are permanent residents of Himachal Pradesh. Only two daughters of a family can take advantage of the 'Himachal Pradesh Beti Hai Anmol Yojana'.
