Dry and chapped lips are not liked by anyone, but in cold weather, the winds often take away the moisture from the lips. Due to this, the lips start to look very dry and lifeless. In such a situation, often we apply lip balm on the lips again and again to maintain the moisture of our lips.

It is possible that you also do this again and again, but due to this, your lips do not get enough hydration. If you want to deeply nourish your lips, then using glycerin is a good idea. You can apply it on your lips in not one but many different ways and get pink lips very easily. So, today in this article, we are telling you about the methods of using glycerin on your lips-

Use glycerin and sugar

If you want to remove dead skin cells present on your lips, then sugar can be used along with glycerin. It acts as an excellent lip scrub. For this, mix a few drops of glycerin, a drop of lemon juice and a little sugar in a small bowl. Now apply this mixture on your lips and massage with very light hands to remove dead skin cells. You will immediately notice a change in the appearance of your lips.

Use glycerin and rosewater

It may be a good idea to apply glycerin mixed with rose water. Rose water not only gives a relaxing feel to chapped lips but also has anti-inflammatory properties, while glycerin soothes your lip skin. You mix a quarter teaspoon of rose water in half a teaspoon of glycerin. Now apply it on your lips and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Finally, clean your lips with lukewarm water. If your lips are dark, then you can mix a few drops of lemon juice in them.

Use glycerin and castor oil

This method is considered very good for those whose lips are very chapped. Castor oil along with glycerin helps rejuvenate your lips. For this, mix half a teaspoon of castor oil with one teaspoon of glycerin. You can also add a drop of lemon juice to it to remove the darkness from your lips. If you want, mix two to three drops of honey in it. Apply it on your lips as a lip mask.

Use glycerin and beetroot

If you want to pink your lips naturally, then beetroot can be used along with glycerin. For this, take some pieces of beetroot and boil them in a double boiler with glycerine. After boiling for 10-15 minutes, you can see the colour of the glycerin changing to pale pink beetroot colour. Switch off the flame and let it cool down. Filter this liquid in a clean glass container. Now apply it on your lips with the help of a cotton ball.
