Telecom Act 2023 has come into force in the country from June 26. There are many such provisions in it, ignoring which can put you in trouble. There is also a rule in the new Telecom Act regarding the number of SIM cards. You can keep a maximum of 9 SIM cards on one identity card, but if you have more than this, you can be jailed and a heavy fine can also be imposed. Now the question is how to find out how many SIM cards are active in your name at this time. Let us tell you the way to do this....

The government portal will help.
For this, first of all, you have to go to https://tafcop.sancharsaathi.gov.in/telecomUser/. After this, you have to enter 10 10-digit mobile numbers and a captcha code. After this, you will get an OTP on the mobile number.

After entering the OTP, you have to log in and after that, the entire list will appear. All the SIM cards that are active in your name will appear in front of you.

If you see a number in this portal that is in your name but you are not using it, then you can complain about the number. After this, the government will block that number.
