Recognize Card Cloning
Whenever you go to an ATM, make sure that card cloning has not taken place anywhere. In fact, if you find anything strange or not looking right at the place where the card is inserted in the machine, such as light not coming on, difficulty in inserting the card, etc. So in such a situation avoid using that ATM.
Seek help from a stranger
If you are going to an ATM, make sure you know how to withdraw money from the machine. If it is not so, then you can take someone from your family with you but do not take help from any unknown person even by mistake. Otherwise, you may get cheated.
From the cash machine
Nowadays, many fraudsters roam near ATMs, who target such ATMs where there is a crowd or there is a queue. These people come to you and offer you cash and take online payment from you. But they go away from there by giving you fake notes or some less money. Therefore, keep in mind that always withdraw money from ATMs only.
Cancel transaction
If you have gone to an ATM to withdraw money, then keep in mind that you should leave there only when your transaction is completed. This means that your money comes out and the transaction is completed by the machine etc. Many people forget to see this in a hurry. Don't make such a mistake at all.
