South Korean car manufacturer Kia Motors has increased the price of its Carens MPV in India by up to Rs 60,000. Now its starting price is 9.6 lakh rupees. The company launched it on 15 February. Since then it is running in tremendous demand.
Features
Carens is equipped with many great features. It gets 10.25-inch HD touchscreen display, digital driver display, Bose sound system, air purifier, ventilated front seat and sunroof. Along with this, in terms of safety, it also comes with Vehicle Stability Management, Rear Parking Sensor, Downhill Braking Control, All-Wheel Disc Brake, Brake Assist. Kia has offered the Carence with six and seven seater layouts.
Engine
Kia Carens comes with three engine options. This includes a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor, 1.4-litre turbo petrol unit and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Its 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine produces 115hp of power and 144Nm of torque, while the 1.4-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged engine produces 140hp of power and 242Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine produces 115hp of power and 250Nm of peak torque.
Mileage
Kia Carens will give mileage of 16.5 kmpl in petrol and 21.3 kmpl in diesel. It has been brought in five trim variants Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus, with multiple powertrains and seating options.
