Apple iPhone 14 deals in Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale 2023 is the hot topic on social media platforms at the moment. Former flagship Apple iPhones will be sold at huge discounts in the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale as buyers wait for the festive sale to get the best offers. The highlight of the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale this year is the Apple iPhone 14 and other popular phones. Although many people are going to benefit from this sale, Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan is in trouble due to this. Amitabh Bachchan has been associated with Flipkart for quite some time now and he is a part of the Big Billion Days Sale advertisement for Apple iPhone 14. In the ad, the famous actor can be seen claiming that the deals and discounts on mobile phones are not available in offline stores and are only available on Flipkart.
The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has now filed a complaint with the Ministry of Consumer Affairs against Amitabh Bachchan and Flipkart for "misleading and frivolous claims" about deals. According to CAIT, the Flipkart advertisement featuring Amitabh Bachchan is misleading the public about the price of mobile phones in the smartphone market.
The federation has requested the ministry to suspend the advertisement and also penalize Flipkart with imprisonment for a term of 2 years and a fine of Rs 10 lakh and Amitabh Bachchan with a fine of Rs 10 lakh.
Flipkart's Big Billion Days Sale 2023 starts on October 8 and the e-commerce platform has already revealed deals on popular devices including Apple iPhone 12, Apple iPhone 13, Nothing Phone (2), Google Pixel, and more. Apple iPhone 14 is believed to retail for under Rs 50,000 with exchange bonuses and bank offers to further bring down the price.
