It is believed that having old, dirty and torn shoes and slippers in the house invites poverty. In such a situation, such shoes and slippers should be thrown out of the house on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. Even the new shoes and slippers kept in the house should not be scattered or kept at the main door of the house on that day.
Do not keep griddle, or chakla-belan in the house
Tawa and chakla-belan are the items kept in the kitchen of the house. It is believed that everything kept in the kitchen should be whole and not broken or damaged, otherwise, it causes blame and brings poverty to the house. In this case, a broken griddle or chakla-belan should be thrown out of the house on the day of Akshaya Tritiya.
Do not keep a broom in the house
The broom is considered to be the form of Maa Lakshmi, whereas, on the day of Akshaya Tritiya, Maa Lakshmi is worshipped. In such a situation, a bad or broken broom should not be kept in the house on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. Mother Lakshmi gets angry with this and the whole or new broom should also be kept hidden.
Do not keep worship clothes at home
If the cloth used during worship in your house is torn or stained, then immediately bury it in the ground somewhere outside the house on the day of Akshaya Tritiya, the cloth of worship used should always be clean.
Do not keep a dustbin in the house
On the day of Akshaya Tritiya, an old dustbin or dirty dustbin should not be kept in the house because it is believed that on the day of Akshaya Tritiya, Goddess Lakshmi arrives in the house. In such a situation, there should not be any items related to dirt in the house such as dustbins, false utensils, dirty and unwashed clothes etc. in the house.
