Chinese smartphone maker company has launched Redmi A1 in India. It comes with a water-drop style notch display. Apart from this, the octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, dual rear camera setup, and 5,000mAh battery have been included in the smartphone.

Redmi A1 has been launched in India in only one variant. 6,499 for its 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. It comes in Classic Black, Light Green, and Light Blue color options.
The handset will be available for purchase in India through Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and Xiaomi's retail partners on September 9 at 4 PM.

Redmi A1 smartphone works on Android 12. Apart from this, it has a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop-style notch. Octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC processor has been used as a processor in the phone.
As for optics, the Redmi A1 packs an AI-enabled dual rear camera unit that includes an 8-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies and video chats, the phone packs a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front. Redmi A1 smartphone comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage.
However, the storage can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. In addition, the Redmi A1 supports more than 20 Indian languages. For power backup, the Redmi A1 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery, which comes with a 10W charger.
