Users can add a new UPI ID of their choice in Paytm. This will become your primary UPI ID.
Paytm allows users to transfer money from mobile phones. From recharging mobiles to paying electricity bills, people can do a lot through this online payment platform. You can transfer money from a bank account through Unified Payment Interface (UPI) on the app. People are given a UPI ID by the app. However, you can add a new UPI ID anytime you wish.
Add UPI ID in Paytm like this
- For this, first, open the Paytm app on your mobile phone.
- After this, click on the profile icon coming on the left side of the screen.
- Now you will see many options in the menu. Scroll down and click on UPI and Payment Settings options.
- Scroll down again and go to Other settings and click on the Manage UPI IDs option.
- Here click on the Add New UPI ID button.
- Now select the UPI ID of your choice from all the options coming up. Then click on the Proceed button.
- Your new UPI ID will be set as the primary ID. The old eye will not be visible to anyone.
You can edit or delete the new ID anytime, at your convenience.
