There are many such places around the world, seeing which it seems that just keep admiring the beauty there. But do you know that there are many such places which are deserted despite being beautiful? Yes, now you must be thinking how can this happen? But believe me; these places are deserted, but very beautiful.

Although these places were once full of people, people left and later they came to be called deserted places. Today we are going to tell you about the cities not only of India but of the whole world, which have been lying deserted for a long time.

Ross Island

You must have heard the name of Andaman… Surely some people must have gone for a trip, but have you heard the name of Ross Island? If not, then tell that there is an island near Havelock and Radhanagar beach which has been deserted since 1941 and now it has become a very unique place. Due to an earthquake in 1941, this place was abandoned by the British colonists.

Since then it has been like this and now it has become a very good tourist attraction. It is believed that many such secrets are hidden here, about which people do not know.

Bannerman Castle

Bannerman Castle is located in New Knock, a special location built by Francis Bannerman VI after purchasing American military surplus from the Spanish War. The place has been known by many names, and the island of Polelpel has been called by many different names. These include Polopel Island, Polopel Island, Bannerman Island and Bannerman Island.

Let us tell you that this island is about 50 miles (80 km) north of New York City. About 1,000 feet (300 m) from the east bank of the Hudson River. It covers about 6.5 acres (26,000 m 2), much of it rocky. However, much of the palace was destroyed in 1920 after a massive explosion of ammunition. After this, the remains of the palace were abandoned.

Miranda Fort

A Belgian political activist, Count Lydeker of Beaufort was forced to leave his home during the French Revolution and move with his family to neighbouring lands. In 1866, the English architect Edward Milner was commissioned to build a summer house. But Milner died before the palace was completed.

Subsequently, the palace served as a camp for Nazis during World War II, a holiday camp under the Belgian National Railway Company, and an orphanage. The palace was then abandoned in 1991 due to high maintenance costs. Now this place is lying in ruins.

Hashima Island

Let us now move towards Japan, there exists an island which has been deserted for many years. Yes, we are talking about Hashima Island off the coast of Nagasaki. It was famous for mining activities between 1887 and 1974. But as soon as the natural calamity came, the beauty here got stained and became deserted.

You must have heard this name while listening to the story of World War II. During that time it was used as a camp, but in the last few years, it is being prepared again for tourists.
