Cheela is one of the common breakfast dishes in North Indian cuisine and can be made using gram flour or semolina. Cheela is an easy recipe that you can make any time.

It looks like a pancake, but it tastes different. Take potato cheela and spice mix and mix it with your favorite dip or chutney.

3 potatoes
2 green chilies
2 tsp coriander leaves
3/4 tsp rock salt
1/2 tsp masala black pepper
20 grams ghee

Cut the soaked potatoes and make a mixture of cheela:
To prepare this delicious vegetable, first, peel the potatoes and wash them well. Soak them for 2-3 hours in a pot filled with water, and grate the potatoes.

Put these grated potatoes in a medium-sized mixing bowl and mix chopped coriander leaves, green chilies, and black peppercorns. Mix well with a spoon and keep the mixture aside.

Cook Aloo Cheela on medium flame and serve:
Heat ghee in a flat bottom pan. After the ghee is sufficiently hot, take out some potato mixture and spread it in a round shape about half a centimeter thick on the pan. On medium flame, cook the cheela for about 2 to 3 minutes.

When the lower part of the cheela turns golden brown, turn it over and cook the other side till brown spots appear on the surface of the cheela.

Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy immediately with any chutney and garnishment of your choice.
