Whenever you go to open a bank account, apply for a loan, get a credit card made, check in at a hotel, apply for a driving license, take a subsidy from any government or non-government scheme, etc.. You need Aadhaar card for so many purposes. At the same time, if your Aadhaar is 10 years old, then you will have to update it. Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI has already extended the date for free Aadhaar updates from 14 March 2024 to 14 June 2024. You can get Aadhaar updated like this for free:-
Step 1

If your Aadhaar is 10 years old and you have not updated it yet, then get it done today.
To update Aadhaar, first of all, you have to go to the official portal of UIDAI uidai.gov.in/en.

Step 2
Now as soon as you reach the portal, here you have to click on the option of 'Update Aadhaar'.
Then you have to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number here.
After this, you have to login through OTP

Step 3
Now you have to click on the document update option and get the documents verified.
Then you have to update the scanned copy of your identity card and address proof from the drop list below.
After this click on the submit button

Step 4
After this, your form will be submitted
You will then get a request number, which you need to keep safe
At the same time, you can check the status of your Aadhaar update through this number.
