Who needs to get Aadhaar updated?

Actually, it has already been said by the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI that people whose Aadhaar card has been made for 10 years have to get it updated. At present, you can get it updated online for free till 14 December 2024.

However, if you get your Aadhaar card updated offline by visiting the center, then you have to pay a fee for it. In such a situation, if you want to update your Aadhaar card online, then you have one month left.

This is how you can check the status of Aadhaar update:-
Step 1

If you have also updated your Aadhaar card and now want to know whether it has been updated or not, then for this you have to check the status.
In such a situation, to check the status, you have to go to the official website of UIDAI https://uidai.gov.in/en/.
Here you have to log in with the help of your Aadhaar card

Step 2
Then you have to go to the 'My Aadhaar' section here, where you will see the option of 'Check Aadhaar Update Status', you have to click on it.
Now you have to click on 'SRN' and then fill in your service request number here.
After this, you will see the captcha code on the screen, enter it, and then you will know your status.
