Within exactly 10 years, Yuzvendra Chahal has become the most successful bowler in IPL. Veteran Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal created history by breaking Dwayne Bravo's record for most wickets in the IPL.

Chahal, playing for Rajasthan Royals, in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, as soon as Chahal took Nitish Rana's wicket to his name, his name became the record for the most wickets in IPL. Chahal took 4 wickets against Kolkata.

Nitish Rana's wicket was the 184th victim of his IPL career. Along with this, he left behind Chennai Super Kings veteran bowler Dwayne Bravo. The special thing is that Chahal did this feat in just 143 matches while Bravo took 161 matches. Not only this, Chahal has played the least number of matches among the five bowlers who have taken the most wickets.

Chahal made his debut in 2013. Then he was a part of Mumbai Indians but he did not get any wickets. In 2014, he was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore and he got the most success here. In 2022, he was bought by Rajasthan.

Chahal took 139 wickets in 124 matches for Bangalore. He was the first bowler to take 100 wickets for Bangalore. At the same time, Chahal has taken 48 wickets in 29 matches for Rajasthan. He also won the Purple Cap last season with 27 wickets.
