The 51st match of IPL 2023 is special for two reasons. The first is that the two teams that debuted last year ie Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans are face to face in Ahmedabad and the second is that in this match Pandya Brothers are face to face as captains. That is, there is a clash between the teams of Hardik and Krunal Pandya. This is happening for the first time in the history of IPL when two real brothers will captain against each other.

The interesting thing is that Lucknow Super Giants have never defeated Gujarat Titans in IPL. Krunal will take charge of the Lucknow team for the first time against Gujarat Titans. Now it will be a matter to be seen whether Bade Mian i.e. Krunal can break this chain against Chhote Mian Hardik's team or not. However, it is a matter of pride for both.

now you must be wondering whether it has happened in T20 before when a pair of two brothers have captained against each other. So the answer is yes. Earlier, this has happened in the Big Bash League. In the 2015-16 season, Mike and David Hussey captained against each other in not one, but two matches. In that season, Mike Hussey captained the Sydney Thunder and David captained the Melbourne Stars, and both matches were won by the elder brother, Michael Hussey's team, Sydney Thunder. Sydney won the league stage match by 1 run. At the same time, both these teams reached the final as well and the match was won by Sydney Thunder by 3 wickets.
