The IPL match will be played on Wednesday after 10 years at the International Cricket Stadium Dharamshala with a capacity of 19,000 spectators. The team of Punjab Kings will clash with Delhi Capitals. To make it to the playoffs, the Punjab team will have to win at any cost. Punjab under the captaincy of Shikhar and Delhi Capitals under the leadership of Warner will take the field. The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association management has completed preparations for the IPL match to be held after 10 years. Before the match, the association management bowed down in the court of Indra, the god of rain, so that the weather remains clear during the match.
IPL chairman Arun Dhumal will also come here to watch the match. On Tuesday before the match, both teams sweated it out during the practice session. The Punjab team started practice at 4:30 pm, while the Delhi team, having lost their hopes of reaching the playoffs, reached the stadium at 6:30.
HPCA stadium is decorated
The stadium is all set to witness the 64th and 66th IPL matches of this season. Harding and LEDs have been installed around the ground. 1,200 police personnel have been deployed in the stadium and surrounding areas for security arrangements.
