In the 51st match of IPL 2023, the teams of Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans came face to face. The captaincy of Gujarat was in the hands of Hardik Pandya and the captaincy of Lucknow was in the hands of Krunal Pandya.
Hardik and Krunal created history as soon as they entered the match. This happened for the first time in IPL history when two real brothers captained a match against each other.
Hardik Pandya has been captaining Gujarat Titans since last season. Krunal has been given the command of Lucknow after Lokesh Rahul got injured. Rahul has been ruled out of the entire season due to injury. This season only Krunal will captain Lucknow in the remaining matches
