Writers were under pressure regarding the script of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', told why Kartik was signed instead of Akshay

Kartik Aryan's upcoming film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' is ready for release. The film is a sequel to the 2007 Akshay Kumar starrer blockbuster film and will be released in theaters on May 20. Fans of 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' are eagerly waiting. But, you will be surprised to know that the writer of the film Akash Kaushik took three full years to complete the script of this film. In an exclusive interview with a website, Akash Kaushik revealed why this has happened.

Akash Kaushik said that the coronavirus epidemic had its effect during the scripting of the film. Also, he was constantly working on the script as he wanted to maintain the level of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'. He said, 'In three years, two years got affected due to Corona. 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' is a cult film. I was constantly working to match it. I was working on the script even during the break. I used to think of making the script even better during the film. Yes, this film has taken three years of my life.

Kartik Aaryan got cast for this
Along with this, Akash Kaushik also revealed why Kartik Aaryan is the perfect cast for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' and not Akshay Kumar. He said that the script demanded that a young hero should be a part of it. That's why Karthik Aryan was selected for this film. He said, 'Karthik Aryan was the best for this film. Rather, while writing the script, only Karthik Aryan's name was in my mind. Akshay Kumar and Kartik Aaryan come from different age groups.

'This film was only for Kartik'
Akash further said, 'Akshay Kumar is a wonderful actor and who would not want to work with him. He also did a wonderful job in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'. To be honest, even while writing, Karthik was in his mind because he brings the excitement to the same level as I have written his role. This film was only for Karthik. In the constant comparison of Akshay Kumar and Karthik Aryan, Akash Kaushik has first requested people to watch 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2'.

'Karthik Aryan did a great job'
He said, 'I don't believe much in comparison. 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa' is a cult classic and was loved by everyone. We all are fans of Akshay Kumar. I knew there would be comparisons in the beginning. But after a point, it will not happen. Talking about the character of Karthik, he has done a great job. He has taken the role to a different level. Even as a writer, I can say that he has done a wonderful job.”
