It is alleged that love jihad is being promoted in the film. Sara Ali Khan is shown as a Hindu girl in this film, who is madly in love with a Muslim man and is ready to do anything. After watching this film, people say that it depicts Hindus as cruel who forcibly get their daughters married.
Some say that a Hindu girl is ready to leave her husband after falling madly in love with a Muslim, thus promoting 'Love Jihad'. If 'love jihad' is to be stopped, first of all, Hindi film production has to be reined in. Not only this, after listening to Sara's dialogue, the anger of the people increased further.
In one scene, Sara is heard saying that – You have understood Hanumanji's prasad, someone, who will spread his hand and we will meet. We are Shivji's Datura, we will go with my mother's oath and will come out from the backyard. In another scene, Sara says – Main Hindu Thakur Woh Kaitai Miyambhai, this is called a real love story. Due to all this, this movie has come into controversy.
