South and Bollywood superstars Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan , who have worked together in films like Andha Kanoon and Hum, are going to be seen together on the silver screen once again. The name of the film is Vettaiyaan, whose audio launch was held recently. In this, the Thalaiva superstar recalled Big B's days of financial crisis and told how he fought his bad times with his work and brought himself back on track.
According to India Today report, Rajinikanth said, when Amit ji was producing the film, he incurred huge losses. He was not even able to pay his watchman. His Juhu house was publicly auctioned. The whole Bollywood was laughing at him... the world was waiting for his downfall. But in 3 years, he did all the advertisements. Earned KBC money and bought all three houses along with his Juhu house. He is an inspiration. Even at the age of 82, he is working 10 hours a day.
Talking about Big B's father, he said, Amitabh ji's father was a great writer. He could do anything with his influence. But without the influence of his family, he made his career alone... Once a big accident happened with Amitabh ji. At that time Indira Gandhi had gone abroad for a conference. But when she came to know about it, she immediately returned to India. Then everyone came to know that Rajiv Gandhi and Amitabh ji studied together.
Talking about Vettaiyan, Amitabh Bachchan, who is working with Rajinikanth after three decades, will be seen playing the role of Satyadev in the film. This will be Big B's Telugu debut. While this will be Rajinikanth's 170th film, which will be released on October 10 i.e. Dussehra.
