Hollywood actor Will Smith has once again apologized for slapping comedian Chris during the Oscars ceremony. Smith released a video saying that his behavior was 'unacceptable' and that he had contacted Rock to discuss the matter, but was told that Rock was not ready for it.

Smith publicly released an emotional video on social media for the misbehavior at the Oscars, saying: "There is no reason to believe that my behavior was correct. I deeply regret it". During this, he also answered many questions. The actor said, 'I went to Chris to apologize but I came to know that he does not want to talk to me. All I want to say is that I apologize to you for whatever happened. My behavior was not acceptable at all.

Will Smith further said - I am here whenever you want to talk to me. He reiterated that he was deeply saddened by the slapping incident. During this, he was also seen getting emotional many times. It may be recalled that during the Academy Awards ceremony on March 27, Smith slapped Rock after presenter Rock commented on Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith's hairstyle.

Following the incident, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts banned actor Will Smith for 10 years from attending the Oscars or any other Academy function. At the ceremony, Smith was awarded the Best Actor Award for his strong performance in "King Richard".
