The cop universe's latest film Singham Again continues to do well at the box office. On the third day of its release, the film earned over ₹50 crore worldwide, taking its global collection to ₹176 crore, and is now inching towards the ₹200 crore milestone.

Singham Again worldwide box office collections day 3

Singham Again is the third installment of the Singham franchise, which began with the 2011 hit film. The film's ₹176 crore collection means it has already surpassed the lifetime collections of the original Singham, which earned ₹157 crore in 2011. According to Sacnilk, Singham Again has earned ₹121 crore net (₹146 crore gross) in India in the first three days of its release. It has earned $3.6 million (₹30 crore) overseas, taking its global total to ₹176 crore.

Singham Again clashes at the box office with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, both of which released on November 1. Singham Again has the advantage of getting a larger share of screens in India. Trade analysts have said that the Rohit Shetty film got 60% of the screens at the time of its release, while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had to be content with 40%. However, the film has made the most of it by registering 60-65% occupancy over the weekend.

Now, the crucial test of Monday will decide the longevity of the film. The Diwali holidays over the weekend helped the film to take a good start. But now, it will see a drop on Monday. However, how big this fall will be will decide how far Singham Again will go.
