Fashion and jewelry designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee would have never imagined that an ad campaign can create so many problems in his life. Sabyasachi is now in legal trouble after hearing people's complaints. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra gave a 24-hour ultimatum and warned him to remove the controversial advertisement. Earlier, a legal notice was also sent to him.
Mishra released the video on Twitter and said – Sabyasachi Mukherjee's advertisement of Mangalsutra is very objectionable. Seeing this, his heart is hurt. They have already warned the designer and today a 24-hour ultimatum is being given to him personally warning him. The Home Minister said that if he did not remove the obscene and objectionable advertisement within this period, then a case would be registered. Action will be taken and a separate 'force' will be sent.
The Home Minister said that the mangalsutra is the most important of jewelry. Its yellow part is considered to be the symbol of Goddess Parvati and the black part is considered to be the symbol of Lord Shiva. Due to this the woman and her husband are protected. Recently Sabyasachi launched her new jewelry collection, in which a plus-size model was seen hugging a man wearing a bra, a bindi, and two mangalsutras.
People were so infuriated after seeing this ad that they heard the fashion designer fiercely. The social media user said – You are selling mangalsutra by promoting nudity.
