Ranbir, who is going to become a father for the first time, is very excited about his upcoming baby. Ranbir said in the conversation that he does not want Alia Bhatt to give up her dreams after having a child because she herself wants to spend more and more time with her upcoming baby. Along with this, he wants to share the responsibilities of parenting with Alia so that there is a balance in their personal and professional life.
Alia-Ranbir expecting their first child
Let us tell you that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia tied the knot in the month of April this year. The couple recently announced that they are expecting their first child, within three months of their marriage. Alia shared the news on Instagram along with a picture from her first ultrasound session. Ranbir was also seen in the picture.
Ranbir wants to be closer to the child
Talking to The Indian Express, Ranbir revealed how he wants to be a practical father. Ranbir said, “Alia and I have been talking for some time now about how we will share our responsibilities. We grew up in a generation where our fathers were very busy with work and weren't around, so we were more or less brought up by our mothers, so we stayed closer to our mothers. I want to have a different progressive bond with my kids. So that I can keep him closer to me."
Will not let Alia compromise
When asked about Alia's film career going to becoming a mother, Ranbir said, "Alia is a very busy working star in this film industry and I don't want her to give up on her dreams because she has a child. That's why we have to plan for a balanced lifestyle somewhere. Where we can both enjoy our personal and professional lives, so it's one day at a time, one step at a time, and I have high hopes for it.
