Karan, who is often trolled for launching Star Kids, has been troubled by the demand for hefty fees. Talking openly about it, he said that- I am surprised that new and young generation people are demanding huge fees and all this is happening during the pandemic.
Karan said- Many youths have increased their fees by 100%. Some stars say that their films did not play or were not released due to which they have increased their fees. Surprisingly, all this was happening when the film industry is trying to make a profit. The producer further added that the young generation is yet to prove itself at the box office. Despite that, he is demanding a fee of 20-30 crores.
Karan further said that – better than giving 150 million actors, I should pay fees in dollars to the technical crew, which at least make the film special. Technicians and writers get much less money than actors, yet their demand does not end.
