The sound and light show was inaugurated by the Home Minister of India Amit Shah at Red Fort, Delhi on Tuesday. The new sound and light show – 'Jai Hind' – was inaugurated on Tuesday, January 10 at the Red Fort, New Delhi.

Home Minister Amit Shah was present at the inauguration ceremony.

The show is produced by Red Fort Memorial Friends Dalmia Bharat in association with Civilization Foundation.
The show is a dramatic presentation of Indian history and heroism.


Mr. Puneet Dalmia, Managing Director, Dalmia Bharat said, “Jai Hind is the first ever sound and light show to showcase live actors and hi-tech projection mapping technology at a heritage venue.”

The show brings to life key episodes from India's history, including the power struggle between the Mughals, the rise of the Marathas, the 1857 War of Independence, the rise of the Indian National Army and the INA trials, the fight for independence, and India's continuous struggle over the past 75 years Progress.

The show is narrated by Amitabh Bachchan and is an experience staged in the three most prominent locations of the Red Fort – Naubat Khana, Diwan-e-Aam, and Diwan-e-Khas.

The Red Fort Sound and Light Show is the third major experience launched by Dalmia Bharat at the Red Fort after the Red Fort Center and the projection mapping show named Mathrubhumi.


The show will be available for public viewing from January 17, 2023.
