He has not given any suggestions to the makers regarding the change. Pathan's song Besharam Rang was in controversy since its release. This song was released on 12 December. There was a lot of controversy regarding Deepika Padukone's clothes. Due to this, there were also talks of hurting the sentiments of Hindus. The Government of Madhya Pradesh had also said that the film would not be allowed to be released in Madhya Pradesh.

'CBFC's job is to strike a balance between creativity and people's sentiments

Prasoon Joshi said in an interview with PTI, "Pathan came before the Examination Commission in CBFC for certification, which was thoroughly examined and the committee suggested the makers make some changes in the film and songs." Prasoon Joshi also said, 'CBFC's job is to strike a balance between creativity and people's emotions. Culture and faith are given a lot of importance in India. Due to this, we should carefully create content. I have said earlier also that hard work will have to be done to maintain the relationship that exists between the producers and the audience.

The Ulema Board also objected to the song Besharam Rang.

Prasoon Joshi also said, 'The certificate will be issued to the film Pathan only when this film submits the final material after making all the required modifications as per the procedure.' Meanwhile, the Ulema Board of Madhya Pradesh also objected to the song Besharam Rang. He called it the propaganda of Islam. A case has been filed against Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in Bihar's Muzaffarpur District Court. Recently the new song from the film Jhoome Jo Pathan has been released. John Abraham also has an important role in Pathan. It is releasing on 25 January.
