Web series on the OTT platform has now grown to an unlimited size. There is no limit to the subject, budget, and quality. Here, earlier this month, Mukhbir, Dharavi Bank, and R Balki's film Chup provided diverse colors and diverse tastes to the OTT audience.

Mukhbir: The Story of a spy

Mukhbir: The Story of a Spy aired on Zee Five is an interesting fictional story of an Indian spy sent to Pakistan. In Mukhbir, a web series based on Malayakrishna Dhar's novel Mission to Kashmir: An Intelligent Agent in Pakistan, inspired by true events, the makers did not compromise on the use of real locations and excellent actors, regardless of the budget.

The hilly villages-towns on the Pak border of Kashmir were taken for both Pakistani and Indian. Shivam Nair, who directed the web series Special Ops, has beautifully directed The Informer with Jayaprad Desai. Sincere efforts have been made to maintain the thrill and interest in the story. With the plot set in the communication-deficient time of the 1960s, an attempt has been made to show how devoted Indian spies were to the danger of their country.

Apart from Zain Khan Durrani playing the lead role of the detective, along with famous actor Prakash Raj, Adil Hussain, Sunil Shanbagh, and colorist Shriram Jog in a small but important role also impressed.

Dharavi Bank: Attack on Dabang's terror

Once upon a time, cinematographers used the stories of underworld gangsters who spread their feet in the Mumbai metropolis in many films. It was also said that Dabangg themselves used to participate in the making of these films for their supremacy among the common people. But now that such terror is almost over.

The fictional story set in Mumbai's biggest slum, Dharavi, is brought to life in all its grandeur on MX Player. Dharavi Bank, a series chronicling the anti-social, criminal activities of Mumbai's Katith Dan, has at times fallen victim to overreaction while underlining the nexus of crime and politics. Sunil Shetty has made a successful attempt to bring alive the main character of Thalaivan.

Chup: havoc wreaked havoc on film critics

R Balki's popular film Chup has given OTT viewers fresh spice-filled content on Zee Five. Based on the tragedy in the personal lives of famous filmmaker Guru Dutt, the gruesome murder of a well-known film critic in Mumbai creates sensation and fear among certain sections. In an extremely awkward and comical way, the police officer, with the help of a psychiatrist, succeeds in trying to catch the killer by weaving a trap.

In the story, a frustrated young man suffering from his father's failed film business unwittingly falls in love with a film critic girl, interesting but also strange. Apart from Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, actor Dulquer Salmaan as the psycho youth and actress Shreya Dhanwantri as his critic's girlfriend impress.
