The 12-year marriage of Nitish Bhardwaj, who became famous all over the world by playing the role of Krishna in the popular TV serial Mahabharata, has come to an end. Giving the message of life to the people in the character of Krishna in the TV serial, Nitish could not save his married life. Nitish Bhardraj and his wife Smita have parted ways, he said in a TV interview. Nitish has two daughters and lives in Indore with his wife Smita.

In an interview to the Bombay Times, Nitish Bhardwaj, who played the role of Lord Krishna in the Mahabharata serial, said that he had separated from his wife Smita. "Yes, I filed for divorce in the Mumbai Family Court in September 2019," he said. I don't want to go into details about the reasons for the divorce, the case is going to court right now. "Needless to say, divorce is often more dangerous than death," Nitish said.

Bhardwaj further said that I have full faith in the institution of marriage, but I myself have not been lucky in terms of marriage. There can be many reasons for a marriage to end. Often there are reasons such as stubbornness or lack of empathy. Or things like arrogance or thinking only of oneself can cause a marriage to break up.
