Kuttey Movie Review: 'Kuttey' is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj's son Aasman Bhardwaj.
Kuttey Movie Review: Aasman Bhardwaj, son of filmmaker-composer Vishal Bhardwaj, has made his directorial debut in Bollywood with this film. The story of the film is very poor, unbelievable, and ripe due to which the film has become loose. Vishal Bhardwaj's music is certainly strong and it saves the film from hanging completely.
How is the Kuttey
Now the second question arises who has been called the Kuttey in the film? The straight answer is - to the policemen because in this all the policemen are very corrupt. So much so that not only the common people but also take money from their people. Gopal (Arjun Kapoor) and Paaji (Kumud Mishra) have become cops in this who have their own gory business and they both get trapped in it in such a way that it seems difficult to get out. Then both of them go to senior police officer Pammi (Tabu) who says bring a hefty amount then let's see what can happen. After this, these policemen together plan to rob a car full of notes. Then there is also a drug mafia boss named Bhau (Naseeruddin Shah) who has his own game in which the policemen are his allies. What will happen to these policemen and the mafia chief - this question is the main attraction of this film.
The screenplay of the film does not fully develop these characters, so the viewer does not understand till the end what was happening. The climax scene is also confusing. There is also a shadow of Naxalism in the film and Konkona has become a Naxalite. There is no justification for this even after watching the entire film.
