Jeetendra: Actor Jeetendra, popularly known as Jumping Jack in the cinema world, has turned 81 today. Jeetendra was born to Amarnath, an artificial jewellery supplier in Amritsar. His initial 20 years were spent in the Chawl of Goregaon, Mumbai, but a coincidence turned his life completely and he became a hero. Coming to Bollywood was not easy
Actually, even though Jitendra is the owner of crores today, childhood of the actor has been very difficult. Jeetendra's Bollywood entry was not easy at all. The actor's father and uncle used to supply jewels to Bollywood films. Everything was going well in his life that one day the actor's father suffered a heart attack and passed away.

Dreams were incomplete
The actor's difficulties increased further when after the death of his father, it became very difficult for Jitendra to run his house. After all this, Jitendra started looking for small jobs in films to make ends meet. He met V. Shantaram in search of work but his dreams were shattered in the first meeting.

During the shooting of a film, Jitendra came into the eyes of V. Shantaram and after that, he was cast in the film 'Geet Gaya Pattharon Ne'.
