James Cameron's film Avatar - The Way of Water is earning a lot of money worldwide including in India. But people watching this film are facing a strange problem. People are facing post-avatar depression syndrome after watching the movie. Please tell me that this type of depression is the same. However, this is not the first time that people have seen problems like despair or depression after watching the film. When the first part of this film came in the year 2009, even then such a problem was seen in the people.

What is Avatar Syndrome after all?
To understand this, you have to go to the first part of the film which came in the year 2009. According to a report published in the English newspaper The Guardian, a user told that when he went to see this film for the first time, he became depressed. He was also in awe of the wonderful world of Pandora shown in the film, which made him wish to become like a human being from this world. This Post Avatar Depression Syndrome is also called PADS in short form.

What do psychiatrists say?
Regarding this avatar depression, American psychiatrist Dr Stephen Quentzel explained in the first part of the film that virtual life can never be real life. But this is one of the best examples of what we can create in a virtual life presentation ever. Dr Stephen Quentzel said that our technology has been put to the best use in creating this virtual world. Real life will never be as utopian as it seems onscreen. Real life seems incomplete with this.

People felt sad
Many people faced sadness and depression after watching this film. According to a 30-year-old man Nick Pavo, about 10 to 20 per cent of people were affected by this film. Ken Wu, founder of the Ancient Forest Alliance to deal with Avatar Syndrome, says that to avoid this, steps have to be taken to protect nature and inspire others to do the same. They say that you have to learn to appreciate this beautiful planet.
