In this video, the comedian said that- "A video of me is becoming very viral and people are sending me to ask that you joked about beard and mustache. I have seen that video many times and will tell you too. You look at that too". She has claimed that she did not speak about any religion or any caste in this video and that people of this religion keep beards and this problem happens.
Bharti further says that- "I was doing comedy with my friend but if it has hurt the sentiments of any community then I apologize with folded hands. I am a Punjabi, I was born in Amritsar and I have always respected him, I am also proud of Punjabi". She said, "I do comedy to make people happy, not to hurt anyone. If I have hurt anyone, then forgive me as your sister".

Many of my friends who have just got married, spend the whole day removing lice from their beards and mustache. The country's Sikh community got furious over this video and the demand to boycott Bharti Singh also started rising. To avoid all this, Bharti has apologized.
