Allu Arjun's film Pushpa: The Rice - Part 1 has been getting positive response since its release. The film, which was a super hit at the box office, could be a trend setter. Because the Hindi dubbed version of the film is also attracting the audience. After a good start, the film has received good reviews from critics and audiences.

Pushpa was released in 1400 theaters of the country in the first week. The number increased in the second week and Pushpa was seen in 1500 screens. The increase in the number of screens in the third week has come as a surprise to the industry. According to reports, the film has been coming to 1600 screens across the country since the third week.

Shahid Kapoor's film Jersey was supposed to be released on December 31, but the makers have postponed it. Pushpa has directly benefited from the release of the jersey due to Kovid's fears. Ranveer Singh's film 83 did not get the expected response. Due to which Pushpa has got an open field. Following the screen rice in the third week, Pushpa has got a box office collection of Rs 47.09 crore so far.
