Sahil Khan Case: Sahil Khan, arrested in the Mahadev Betting App case, was heard in the court today. During the hearing, the government side, while giving its arguments, said in the court that Sahil Khan is not an endorser but the owner of an app through which gambling is played. Officials told in the court that Sahil Khan is the owner of 'The Lion Book' app and he also used to go to Dubai in this connection.
Sahil is not cooperating in the investigation.
The investigating officer wants to know whom Sahil Khan used to meet in Dubai. Who used to bear the expenses of traveling to Dubai. Also, how many people had been added to this app. Crime Branch officials told the court that Sahil Khan was not cooperating at all in the investigation. Not answering the questions asked correctly. Police custody was demanded by the Crime Branch officials to investigate all these subjects.
The actor will remain in police custody till May 7.
While giving the argument, Sahil Khan's lawyer clearly said that Sahil Khan is a celebrity. They also promote these apps and this is just an endorsement. Nothing else. Till now, the police do not have any evidence or any account where Sahil Khan would have made any money transaction or there is not any call detail through which it can be proved that Sahil Khan encourages gambling. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the court sent Sahil Khan to police custody till May 7.
