What is the matter?
According to a report in News 18, Mysore-based writer Anil Kumar has accused former Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim of stealing the story of the film. Anil Kumar says- 'In the year 2010, I started writing the story and also posted a post of it in 2018. Through my Linkedin post, I got in touch with Ad Director Sukhdas Suryavanshi. He called me to Bombay (Mumbai) and asked me to bring the script with me. I have a complete chat history. He told me that he would introduce me to Aamir Khan, but due to some reasons, I could not meet him. I gave him the story and registered it with the Screen Writers Association.

Anil Kumar further said- 'Recently I heard that the film Maidan is coming. I was surprised because this is my story. When I heard the teaser and their statements, I knew this was my story. He has twisted my story a bit. Let us tell you, Ajay Devgn's film 'Maidan' has hit the theaters on April 10.
