According to the information, it is being told that the fraudsters had promised Disha's father a high post in a government commission and in this process, they extorted Rs 25 lakh from him.

After this incident, Jagdish Patani has registered a case in Bareilly Kotwali Police Station. This case has been registered against five people. Shivendra Pratap Singh, Diwakar Garg, Acharya Jaiprakash of Juna Akhara, Preeti Garg and one person are involved in the fraud case. This case has been registered as fraud, extortion. The police station in-charge of Kotwali said in this case that the investigation is going on and efforts are being made to catch the accused. Let us tell you that Disha's father Jagdish is a retired deputy superintendent.

Had promised to get a high post in the commission

In this case, Disha's father has informed the police that Shivendra Pratap, whom he knew earlier, had introduced him to Diwakar Garg and Acharya Jaiprakash. He has alleged that these people had claimed that they have very good political connections and in this way they will help in getting appointed to a big post like the chairman, vice-chairman of a government commission.

25 lakh fraud happened

Jagdish informed that Rs 25 lakh was taken from him, which was transferred to different accounts and Rs 5 lakh was taken in cash. However, when there was no progress in the promises made to Patani for three months, Jagdish asked for his money back, after which he first asked for the return along with interest. But police officials said that when Jagdish asked for the money again, the accused started threatening him and also misbehaved with him.

In the complaint, Jagdish also informed that to prove the promises of their political connections true, the accused also introduced him to a person named Himanshu, who said that he was a Special Task Officer.
