Dulquer Salman has received a 10-year golden visa from the Abu Dhabi government

After filmmakers Bonnie Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Salman Dulkar, filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan has become the second celebrity to get a UAE Golden Visa.

Farah Khan posed with her Golden Visa on Instagram and thanked the UAE government for the honor. The filmmaker wrote a note stating that he had received a visa for his contribution to Indian cinema.

The filmmaker also thanked the Dubai Film and TV Commission. He has been awarded a Golden Visa at the Dubai Expo. Farah wrote while sharing the post, no matter what we say but it feels good to hear praise. I am very honored to have received the Golden Visa. I got a visa for my contribution to Indian cinema, for my achievements in films and especially for Happy New Year's association with Dubai. Thanks to the Dubai Film and TV Commission for supporting the creative people.

Farah Khan gets UAE Golden Visa

In the year 2019, the UAE government established Golden Visa as a new system in which investors and entrepreneurs as well as people from different fields including science and sports apply for it. This Golden Visa is issued for five and ten years and is renewed accordingly. Let me tell you that before Farah Khan, artists like Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Towino Thomas and Dulquer Salman got Golden Visas from Dubai.
