Actor Pankaj Tripathi, who plays Kaleen Bhaiya in the Mirzapur web series, recently wrapped up the shooting of Akshay Kumar-starrer 'OMG' and now the actor has started shooting for Srijit Mukherji's next film 'Sherdil'. The film is said to be based on a true incident that happened in the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve, where the villagers left their elderly family members to die in front of the tigers to claim compensation from the administration.
Pankaj will be seen playing the role of a village head, who seeks help to save his poor family. The film is being co-produced by Reliance Entertainment and T-Series.
