It has been two weeks since Bigg Boss 18 aired on TV and fans have picked their favourites among the 18 contestants. Among them, actor Karanvir Mehra certainly seems to be one of the favourites. As fans discuss him on social media, many have shared old pictures of him with late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, highlighting their close bond.
Karanvir first met Sushant on the sets of his TV show Pavitra Rishta, in which Sushant played the lead character of Manav while Karan played a supporting role as Naren Karmarkar. Their relationship soon moved beyond the sets and they developed a close bond over the years.
Karan and Sushant would often hang out, have fun and discuss life. Pictures of their happy moments are proof of their friendship, which was the talk of the town.

After Sushant's tragic death in 2020, Karanvir opened up about their friendship and how the Kai Po Che! actor was the light of his life. "He always treated me like a younger brother. When I was at the crossroads of my career and relationships, he would guide me at every step. Every evening spent with him was special.
He would discuss topics from space to music, sports, fitness, films with me and tell me a lot of things," Karan told ETimes.
After Sushant's demise, Karan posted several pictures on his Instagram handle. But what caught everyone's attention was his pain of losing a friend. In the caption, Karan wrote about his guilt of not helping Sushant in his time of need. The caption read, "What really hurts the most is that when he needed someone, I couldn't be there, for which I will never be able to forgive myself. I always thought he was someone who took life very seriously, and when the time came he took it very casually. Brother, we will meet soon somewhere in your stupid quantum physics, photons, cosmos, black holes and parallel worlds.
