Ranbir Kapoor is now ready to include himself in the list of an action hero with his upcoming film 'Shamshera'. The film is directed by Karan Malhotra, whose trailer has been released. The trailer of the film has been well-liked. Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt will be seen with Ranbir in the film. To make the film a hit, Ranbir is promoting 'Shamshera' fiercely these days. The film is set to release in theaters on July 22.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor has told in an interview that his father Rishi Kapoor had warned him before 'yes' to the film 'Shamshera' because Rishi Kapoor was Karan Malhotra in the film 'Agneepath' (2012). They had seen working together. The audience could not believe their eyes seeing the wonderful way in which Karan got Rishi Kapoor to play the negative character of 'Rauf Lala'. Now Karan has also made a hero with a chocolatey image like Ranbir Kapoor a dacoit on the screen.

"Papa said, 'Be prepared, you will regret a lot"

Talking to Bollywood Hungama about this, Ranbir said, "Papa had warned me and said, 'You will regret a lot. Karan Malhotra is a very strict director. Takes a lot of texts, takes a lot of torment, so be prepared!" Today when we watch the film, it seems that the hard work has been recovered. However, there is no doubt that working in Karan's film was like a nightmare. For all of us actors, this film was physically the most exhausting. We were covered with dust. Were shooting in woolen clothes even in the scorching heat of Mumbai. I also had a thick beard from above. It was very difficult to do action scenes.

"I am a very soft, polite, and calm person"

Ranbir Kapoor told that in 'Shamshera' you will get to see everything - action, romance, comedy everything, but the one thing that was most difficult and challenging for him to do was to show aggression. Ranbir said, “I have never done such an angry and action-filled role, so it was challenging for me because I am not an angry person. I am a very soft, polite, and calm person. All the anger was just in the story." Ranbir further said that such films are rarely available to actors and he is very thankful that he got a chance to work in such a film.
