Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan is currently lodged in Mumbai's Arthur Road Jail in a drug case. A few days ago, Shah Rukh had gone to meet him in jail. Now news is coming that Shah Rukh's wife Gauri Khan is going to jail to meet her son Aryan. According to reports, both Shah Rukh and Gauri are very upset about the Aryan affair. The two will meet to find out Aryan's condition. Today is Shah Rukh and Gauri's 30th wedding anniversary. But, since Aryan is in prison, they will not celebrate.
Before Gauri, Shah Rukh had gone to meet Aryan in jail on October 21. The father-son meeting lasted about 18 minutes. However, as per the rules, the prison administration is only agreeing to a 10-minute meeting. Aryan got emotional when he saw Shah Rukh during the meeting. The prison guard with him recovered him and then the two spoke to each other on the intercom.
Shah Rukh met the boy in the cabinet
Shah Rukh met Aryan in the prison cabinet. On one side of the glass wall was Aryan and on the other side was Shah Rukh. Shah Rukh was accompanied by some of his staff. But he was not allowed to go with Shah Rukh in the cabinet. According to sources, Aryan was devastated to see his father and started crying. This was the first time Aryan's family members had visited him since his arrest on October 2.
The bail hearing will be held in the High Court on Tuesday
Aryan's judicial custody was extended on October 21 by a special NCB court. The court had remanded all the eight accused, including Aryan and his friend Arbaaz Merchant, in judicial custody till October 30. Aryan Khan, accused in Mumbai cruise drugs case, has not yet received relief from the High Court. Accepting the petition filed by his lawyers on Thursday, the Bombay High Court adjourned the case till Tuesday, October 26. Until then, Aryan will have to stay in Arthur Road Jail.
