On the 20th day of its release, Pushpa 2 earned Rs 14.2 crore in India. In the dubbed version, the film earned Rs 11.5 crore in a day. It has become the first Hindi language film to cross the Rs 700 mark. Pushpa 2 has grossed Rs 1100 crore in India alone. With its global earnings, it has earned Rs 1600 crore and has become the third biggest Indian film. Despite new releases like Baby John and Mufasa: The Lion King, Pushpa 2 has maintained its dominance at the box office.

With its spectacular earnings, Pushpa 2 broke the first day record of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawaan in Hindi language. It also broke RRR's record of Rs 156 crore and became the biggest domestic opener of all time. The film has topped the charts and has surpassed the first day collections of the Hindi film “Jawaan” which earned Rs 65.5 crore on the first day.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film will see Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli and Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. The lead actor of the film Allu Arjun received the National Film Award for his performance in the first part.

The first part of Pushpa, directed by Sukumar, depicted the power struggle against the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling. The first part of the film “Pushpa: The Rise”, which released during the pandemic, did very well and earned a decent Rs 326.6 crore worldwide. Notably, Allu Arjun won his first National Award for Best Actor for his role in the film. “Pushpa 2” is expected to break even more records and make its name in cinematic history.
