Actress Rhea Chakraborty, who is facing charges in the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has got a big relief. A court in Mumbai has accepted the petition of the actress, in which an appeal was made to unblock her bank account. Along with this, the demand of returning the mobile phone and laptop seized during the investigation has also been accepted.

If reports are to be believed, the court has agreed to de-freeze Rhea's bank accounts and return her laptop and mobile phone after NCB did not register any objection. However, along with this, the court has also ordered that Rhea will have to share her bank details whenever required.

It may be recalled that Rhea's accounts were frozen last year during the investigation into the drugs case that began after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. The court asked the NCB on her plea to de-freeze her account and fixed deposits. Permission may be granted as there is no strong opposition.

It was also said on behalf of the court that till the end of the trial, the amount in Rhea's bank account on September 16, 2020, should remain the same till further orders and if required. Earlier, when Rhea had filed the petition, NCB's Special Public Prosecutor Atul Sarpande had opposed it and said that the amount deposited in Rhea's accounts could be related to drugs.
