Based on the epic Ramayana, Adipurush stars Prabhas as Lord Ram, Saif Ali Khan as Ravana, and Kriti Sanon as Janaki. The film opened to mixed to negative reviews, with particular criticism of its visual effects, dialogues, and deviations from the story of the Ramayana. However, this has not affected the box-office prospects of the film. How the film performs, in the long run, will depend on its first Monday numbers.
