Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav addressed a public rally in support of the Grand Alliance candidate for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections at the ITI grounds in Nawada on Wednesday (November 5, 2025). On one hand, he attacked the NDA and on the other, he appealed to the public to elect Tejashwi Yadav as the next Chief Minister of Bihar.
During the rally, Akhilesh Yadav targeted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, claiming that all is not well within the NDA. Akhilesh Yadav stated that Nitish Kumar now understands that the Bharatiya Janata Party will not reappoint him as Chief Minister. He cited the absence of Nitish Kumar from the NDA rally in Nawada and Prime Minister Narendra Modi 's roadshow in Patna as reasons for this. He stated that this clearly demonstrates that all is not well within the NDA.
'With what face are you coming to Bihar to ask for votes?'
Akhilesh also attacked senior JDU leader Lallan Singh. He said that people in Bihar are saying that Lallan Singh threatened not to vote. Similar allegations were made in Uttar Pradesh. This is an attack on democracy. Akhilesh Yadav urged voters that voting is very important and that they should ensure that no one's vote is cut.
On this occasion, Akhilesh Yadav appealed to the public to vote in support of RJD's Kaushal Yadav from Nawada Assembly, RJD candidate Purnima Yadav from Govindpur Assembly, Anita Kumari from Warisliganj, Pinky Bharti from Rajauli Assembly, and Congress candidate Neetu Singh from Hisua.
