At the same time, a 95-year-old mother was left under the open sky by her own son and grandson in all seasons, be it cold, rain or scorching heat. The evening of her life is passing with the help of an old cot, a torn tarpaulin and some broken utensils. Not only this, she is spending the last days and nights of her life with the help of stale rotis and dirty water.

The mother who once spread her dupatta to protect her son from the sun. Those very sons left her to die in the scorching sun. This mother who used to live with love earlier, now did not get a place in her own house. As soon as the property was in the name of the son, the value of the mother ended. There was a time when the son used to sleep peacefully with his head on her lap. Today the same son forced her to die slowly under the open sky to count her last breaths.

When the colony residents saw the old woman and felt her pain, their hearts trembled. But due to fear and helplessness, they could not come forward openly. Finally, Collector Deepak Saxena was informed about this inhuman act through an anonymous letter. It was written in the letter, "Mother has been thrown into the furnace of fire. She is sitting on the burning ground on the roof, not even a little shade is available."

Collector Deepak Saxena took immediate action. Tehsildar and police team were sent. When the team reached there, the heart-rending scene that unfolded shook everyone's heart. A shivering, scared old mother was sitting huddled up under a torn tarpaulin. The roof was scorching under her feet, the sun was pouring fire on her head. But there was no complaint on her face. There was just a strange silence. As if the mother was silently enduring this pain at the hands of her own children.

Neighbors wrote a letter to the DM

When the Tehsildar reached with the police to rescue the woman on the orders of the Collector, the grandson and daughter-in-law denied that nothing like that had happened. But when the officials went up and saw, they became aghast. The police immediately rescued the old woman and took her to a safe place. On the demand of the neighbors, the process of keeping her in an old age home was started, where she would at least get a respectable life.
